VMS Consulting Engineers is a private company founded in Belgrade, Serbia in 1992 specialized in a wide range of construction including design, supervision, and technical support during construction.

Over the last twelve years VMS has been involved in several Projects as assistant to the Project Management with various international consulting companies operating in Serbian market such as COWI A/S Denmark and Scott Wilson Ltd. UK.

This experience with some of the biggest and well-known companies in the field of consulting business made us leaders in this area in Serbia.

Additionally, VMS can also draw on a pool of specific expertise through its close co-ordination with Belgrade University and specialized Institute for materials and testing of civil engineering.

Starting with five employees, the Company today has 25 permanent employees, all of them civil and structural engineers and architects, and an extensive network of exclusive experts covering different fields of specializations and working on a part time basis.

VMS have following licenses for preparation of technical documentation for structures with building permit issued by Ministry of Construction and Urban Planning of Republic of Serbia or responsible authority of autonomous provinces:

  • P090A1 – architectural designs of cultural heritage monuments of great importance and their protected surrounding and clearly defined borders of cadastral lots, monuments from UNESCO list and structures in protected areas according to Act on protection of cultural monuments

  • P091A1- architectural designs for structures within zones of National parks and for structures in protected natural areas of great importance

  • P203G1- Structural design of structures 50 and more meters high
  • P040G1- Designs of building structures for facilities of basic and processing chemical industry, ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, facilities for processing leather and fur, rubber processing plants, facilities for manufacturing cellulose and paper, processing facilities of non-metallic minerals that are built outside of mining fields defined by the law that regulates mining and geological research, except facilities for the primary processing of decorative and other stones
